Disaster Management System

Inivit Systems, as part of its VGAMS platform, developed a call centre application. The application is in essence a disaster management system and is completely customizable due its event based architecture. The following customizations can be done to suite the needs of almost any disaster management call centre.

  • Customizable events. An event is defined as any happening in time and location. Every event logged in the system is assigned a unique event ID that allows the progress of the event to be queried and tracked. For example, in a road event call centre, the following events can be defined.
    • Potholes;
    • Road furniture damage;
    • Road sign damage;
    • Any dangerous condition;
    • Flooding;
    • Fires;
    • Accidents;
    • Etc.
       
  • Customizable event actions. An action is defined a any activity that needs to take place on reporting of an event. Every type of event can have any number of unique actions. Actions is traceable and progress can be monitored.
